  this teaching demonstration, I taught elementary school, namely all classes. During my observations, I found that there were many differences between the Indonesian and Filipino curricula, which made me interested in exploring the differences in learning systems again. At St Augustine Catholic School the class levels are differentiated using classes A, B and C where A contains smart children, B contains quite smart children, and C contains less intelligent children, why is that? because the school's vision is to focus their learning with children of the same level, so they learn side by side to become smart together.

CULTURE TOUR

  While we were in the Philippines, we took advantage of our time, one of which was wanting to know about culture and culture, as a result we went to a cultural center that is often visited by foreign tourists, one of which is the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art or (ILOMOCA) which is an art museum from the Philippines. the content is very aesthetic and adds to my insight about the Philippines.

BANQUET WITH ST. AUGUSTINE PATRONAL FIESTA

  August, 29th 2023 We were invited to attend a dinner with the teachers at St. Augustine Catholic School. This event is also a series of Patronal Fiesta activities. We were served very delicious food and what we really appreciated was that we were also prepared halal food so that we could enjoy the food safely and comfortably.     While enjoying the food, we chatted with the school director, principal and teachers. We were also accompanied by the Head Administrator of the ISUFST Dumangas campus and teacher buddies.

MUNICIPALITY OF DUMANGAS

 August, 31st 2023 The Mayor of Dumangas personally invited us to meet at his office. From our conversation with Mayor B.J, we were welcomed very well, the Mayor also asked about our feelings while we were in Dumangas. He advised us to stay comfortable while we were here. With that we also feel that we are also very happy with the accommodation provided to us. And we also say that the people in Dumangas are very kind and friendly, and we are also enthusiastic about learning Hiligaynon.

ASEAN EXHIBITION

  August, 30th 2023 The ASEAN EXHIBIT celebration was held at SM City, Iloilo City. The celebration was very lively, all universities in Iloilo also enlivened the event by setting up booths with each representing ASEAN member countries. Then all universities also gave performances in the form of singing and dancing performances which are characteristic of each country. The activity was held very lively and enthusiastically.

ST. AUGUSTINE CORONATION CELEBRATION

  August, 28th 2023 The coronation ceremony sees the crowning of a new king or queen. This ancient ceremony is an occasion for spectacle and celebration. St. Augustine Catholic School held this celebration in honor of St. Augustine. and build closeness with parents and all students.

FILIPINA'S FOOD

August, 23rd 2023 The welcome give to  Ahmad Dahlan University students was truly extraordinary, we were served traditional Filipino food. Variety of interesting and unique foods with local Filipino flavors, especially Iloilo City. we really enjoyed all the food served to us. all food brings new flavors to our taste buds when we enjoy it. Very thick and oriental spices make the food taste more delicious.
